Paris Hilton Glamour Mansion

Ok This place, is SOOOOOOOOOOO her its not even funny.
I always wondered if she had a home, or if she had style, and I couldn't pick it, but the designer on this place really understood her...I feel.

Love the huge urns on the dining table, and see what I mean by being Paris...with the chandelier hanging over the table.

Im only dissapointed that she used Zebra print. If I can have a real Zebra skin rug then so can she...Only if it is vintage of course, because they didn't know better then!

I love that pic, and the mirrors all over this place, its intense. Pure Fendi pillow!

I wonder why she needs mirrors all around her bed?

I love the gazebo and the black on white cushion!

Hope you liked her home, I have a whole series of photos of when she sold her house that she owned when she was known as Paris2...ie: Paris Latsis. This home is much more suited to her style!

See you.

Ok really sorrry!

So I have been REALLY bad and have not posted a single post since a while ago.

But I have a new philosophy on life, just like Mr. Ikea, I will only do things for 10minutes a day.

Therefore I dont get tired of it, and so I can allocate a 10min slot dedicated to my blog, and see if I can post some really cool mansions!

Ok I bought a while ago AD: Hollywood at Home edition, and I want to start uploading some of those pics, plus I buy past editions of AD with celebs on it, to make sure this site can be different.

So go have a look at my past posts!

Meredith Viera: Sneaky View Today inside her home

New Job, New House, and a new View. Sneak peak into her home.
Ralph Lauren leather banquette. Reason for the remodel.
Fabulous pool, inviting deck chairs.
Amazing mosaic tiles!
I have been thinking about buying one of these little compass things at Coco Republic in Sydney, and now I probably will..haha
That blue/green is stunning
I met Jerry O'Connell and asked him if he thought she was hot, he said no. Ok maybe he is right not hot, but she is beautiful.
I wonder how you maintain a copper sink. Its beautiful.
Yeah I like it. I appreciate it, but its ugly.
Entire 12 page article to come, it really is a good read. She is a crack up. If you think that the house is amazing with these pictures, just wait for the scans.
I miss her already on The View, We only get 2 hours of the Today Show and it starts at 4am. I might program it.

Madonna's LA Mansion

Her MADGEsty's Castle

No comment on the unibrow. The 1920s hacienda used to be owned by Diane Keaton who is really cool, and has great homes. She sold it to Madonna for US$10.9M.
Great kitchen, I can just see Madonna there slicing open the watermelon and serving her kids. Oh wait...I forgot she has 'got a lawyer and a manager, an agent and a chef...'
I love the dining table, it is probably from a high end furniture design company such as Baker. Her home has a formal elegant feel, while still feeling homely and modern- with the abilty to just relax and indulge in it.
This is what I mean by keeping it modern and fun. Check out the leopard fabric on the pront of the cushions on the armchair. So Madonna.

I am however really sorry about the artwork above the fire place. Yeh, not feeling it Madge.

I love the blanket and diamond tuffed armchair is so beautiful and elegant, especially in the golden fabric.
Those books really warm up a room with terracotta tiles, I love armchairs and those again do not disapoint. Stunning, probably again from somewhere like Baker.
I am so the opposite, I couln't handle the kids pencils laying about. Which is funny because I am surrounded with children making a mess. I am particular, when I make my bed I dont even want to sleep in it.
The artcle is pretty good.Above shot and back shot of the house. You wouldn't think Madonna would have a place near the commoners. You would expect a huge estate like her English mannor.

What do you all think about the house?

Random Celebrity Mansion Sunday

Denzel Washington Mega Mansion

Ok. I would love more pictures of this house, especially clearer ones. If anyone out there has them email them here so I can post them for everyone.

This place is amazing, I believe it is 30,000square feet which is about 2800 square meters of living space. Thats not normal.

The property is in Beverly Park, so basically it is that exclusive that its not even in Beverly Hills they have there own estate within the suburb. Right opposite is Sylvester Stallone mansion, which I will try to get better pics of. There was a TV show with the interior of it but I will have to search my whole video collection for it.

Back to Denzel's home, I simply love it, it is perfection. Who knew he had made this sort of money! Go Denzel

The Golden Girl: Donatella Versace Milan Home

ELLE DECOR USA April 2006

This place is a intense. Opulence, over the top, decadence, luxurious theatrics are the icing of the cake...Her Milan home has a life of its own. It could start up its own fashion lable.

Oh wait a minuite, it already has with Versace Home.

I wonder what kind of mood this place brings on when living in it, hopefully not the foul mouth temper we see of her in SNL: "Get OwUUUUT"

I bet she must gain alot of inspiration when in this place, it would be hard not to.
I dont know if this is a home that says fashions most fabulous designer or old granny, with an alleged $1K a day coke habit. (Star Jones taught me well)
Nice mural on the wall. Yah right!
Is nonna going to come out of bed this morning. This cannot be the fashion leaders bedroom, there is ZERO sex appeal.
The worst fabric I've ever seen. Where on earth does the opulence radiate in this room?
I'm feeling the Leopard throws. They are probably real.
Ok- This is a little bit better. The master suite with that Art Deco bed, along with the magnificent leadlight window.
Great bathroom, I love the use of excessive mirrors in there. It should be standard in all bathrooms across the globe.
I love what she says in the last picture about mixing styles, is what keeps things relevant and upto date, where as keeping the same style through out a home is actually old fashioned. I will remember that.

Overall I would have to say I liked it, there were bits of style overkill, but it is very Versace. I must say I will stick to Giorgio Armani.

What did you guys think of that?

I am going to have one of her best friends homes posted, most likely tomorrow.

Get Brad Pitt's Look!

So the Brad Pitt designed house made you want to create the look, well I have a couple key pieces here that can do just that.
Just go over to Ikea and buy a few of these fluffy rugs. They look great and you too can curl up with a glass of wine and a good book under the fire, just like Brad and Ange and their Africa kids and their new hottie to be.

Ok so over at Modern Furniture Classics you can buy the Egg Chair but because it is a reproduction its about half the cost of buying the 'original'.
I still have not made my mind up about the whole debate about classic furniture reproductions.
However at the end of the day this chair along with the Herman Miller Eames chairs are reproductions. They simple have the licence to produce the design.
You decide what is right. I still haven't but I do like to save large chunks of money.

New Posts- Shopping!!!

Ok, This is so weird.

Basically like nearly the entire world we are all obsessed with the celebrity culture and I am one of them. I love architecture, I love interior design and I just wanted to integrate those two topics to create something for myself really, maybe someone out there might find interesting thats a bonus.

I actually like doing this, and I am not much of a writer, but I will keep doing this as long as I have relevant content and in order to keep this blog fresh I am going to add a lil somthing something.

So basically when I feature a celeb mansion here, I will try to find key pieces from their crib and show where you can get them...and ways to get them cheaper (if your keen).

OK then, see you round

The House That Brad Built!

So that budding architect I mentioned yesterday is actually Brad Pitt. You can see that the boy got talent! His take on this modernist home is very well done and has real warmth to it, but using so many different textures throughout the home while still only using a minimal colour palette
How inviting is that small pool on a warm summers day.
I'm loving the egg chair in the tan leather.

The marble on the wall is HOT! Genius.
Talk about integrated home office. He must be a clutter Nazi.
See what I mean by warm...Bravo Brad, Now if I can only get my hands on the interior pictures of the Beverly Hills mansion he shared with Jennifer Aniston. I saw shots of it on Inside Edition and it was magnificent.

Barbara Streisand Cliftop Mansion

RANDOM CELEBRITY HOUSE:

So we all know how Barbara Streisand protects her privacy, but I mean everyone has seen your house already because of the people she has tried to sue about having pictures of her house on their sites.

Its so lovely why doesn't she just let people see it.

Britney Spears Finally Sells NYC Loft

Ok so she finally sold this mofo...I don't know why she didn't keep it, she only made $1M on it, its not as though she needs the cash. Though she is married to the recently confessed broke "rapper"/ povo loser.

No wonder it took two years to sell this place, the furniture they used to help sell it ended up making the Greenwich Village quadruplex look like a poorly decorated crack house.

You would expect more from New York realesate agents.

She ended up selling for $4million however she wanted $6million large. 4400 Sqaure feet of about 500square meters this place is huge. I nearly bought it, but then I woke up!

Not a bar of soap or a towel in sight. How are you supposed to create a lifestyle in the empty shell. Britney for your next sale...decorate the apartment maybe you will have a hope in hell of selling the damb thing.
I have some awesome new homes that I must scan before I upload them...but here is a hint for one of them...he is a budding architect.
